OUR APPROACH

Mark Abzug is the president of Law Offices of Mark Abzug, P.A. He practices in all areas of family law. He has worked extensively in matters involving dissolution of marriage including the equitable distribution of retirement assets.

Mr. Abzug’s role at East Coast is overseeing its day to day business operations and he is in charge of business development. As indicated herein, East Coast QDROs does not provide any services to non attorneys in relation to the portion of its business dedicated to the preparation of qualified domestic relations orders and is not engaged in the practice of law.

Mr. Abzug earned his J.D. degree in 1991 from Widener University School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, in 1988 from the State University of New York at Albany. In 1992, he was admitted to the Florida Bar and in 1995 he was admitted to U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida. Mr. Abzug is a certified family law mediator and is a former traffic hearing officer.

Robert Abzug, ASA, EA, FCA, MAAA has over 35 years of experience working with publicly traded and privately held companies at nationally recongnized firms including Mercer, KPMG, TIAA/CREF and Chernoff Diamond. Robert has extensive experience in the valuation, design and administration (including preparation of QDRO calculations) of all types of qualifed and nonqualifed retirement plans as well as postretirement medical, life, dental, drug and vision plans. Robert is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Robert has a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from The College of Insurance.
